Director, Global Cybersecurity Policy

Ms. Patricia Ephraim Eke

Patricia leads Microsoft’s cybersecurity public policy efforts, with a primary focus on critical infrastructure cybersecurity risk management and AI security. Her role extends to representing Microsoft in vital cybersecurity initiatives, including the Coalition to Reduce Cybersecurity Risk (CR2) and the Charter of Trust. In 2022, she was Microsoft’s representative on the U.S. Information Technology Sector Coordinating Council (IT SCC) executive committee and the President’s National Security Telecommunications Advisory Council (NSTAC) sub-committee. Prior to joining Microsoft, Patricia made significant contributions by leading cybersecurity standards development projects at the U.S. Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC). Her work focused on exploring cloud computing applications within the power and utilities sector and leading the development of critical cybersecurity standards related to supply chain risk management. Patricia holds a M.Eng. in Cybersecurity Compliance and Policy from George Washington University and a B.A. in Economics and Business Administration from Washington College.
