Mr. Orhan Osmani

Orhan Osmani is acting Head of the Cybersecurity Division at the ITU’s Development Sector. With over 20 years in ICT, Orhan boasts a rich background spanning the private sector, international development, and roles in cybersecurity. His expertise encompasses areas like cybersecurity, policy and strategy review, and emergency telecommunications. Before joining ITU he worked for Oracle in Asia-Pacific and now leads a cybersecurity team at ITU, aiding developing nations and LDCs. Additionally, he has supported post-disaster response efforts. Orhan holds degrees in Computer and Electrical Engineering and master Information Technology.
