Mr. Massimo Mina

Mr Mina has an educational background in civil engineering and started his career in the private sector in Nigeria and in Morocco between 1992 and 1994. In 1994 he joined the European Commission Delegation in Nairobi as a junior expert, where he managed cooperation projects in the area of transport, infrastructure, nature and cultural conservation.
Mr Mina’s career includes extensive experience with development and international cooperation both in the European Commission Headquarters in Brussels and in EU Delegations.
Mr Mina carried out assignments in the EU Delegations in Albania, Tunisia, also covering Libya, and Bosnia and Herzegovina. From 2017 to 2019, he was Team Leader for Monitoring and Evaluation in DG Neighbourhood and Enlargement Negotiations, before taking over the Programmingteam to support the preparation and coordination of programming of NDICI and IPA III.
Since September 2021, M. Mina is the Head of Cooperation in the EU Delegation to Ghana.
