During this session, the GFCEwill engage with multiple cyber capacity building stakeholders present in Western Balkans. In recent years Western Balkans has experienced numerous cyber- attacks and incidents disrupting both critical infrastructure as the lives of civilians in their daily activities. In parallel Western Balkans’ digital economies are expanding fast and become more and more complex.

The first objective of this session is to discuss the importance of strong digital economies both from a national as well as from a European perspective. Second, the discussion will focus on the cyber capacity Building landscape in WB which is unique given its vast amount of donors and a multitude of implementing organizations on a very broad range of topics. All these come with tremendous challenges which raises questions on efficiency, coordination, impact and sustainability.
