Samuel Miga, born on June 30, 1982, in Košice, has a diverse professional history across various sectors. He earned a Master’s degree from the Faculty of Mass Media Communication at St. Cyril and Methodius University in Trnava between 2005 and 2010. Transitioning to media, he worked as a news editor for a private television station, focusing on the issues of Eastern Slovakia residents. In 2023, Migaľ entered politics with the HLAS-SD party. He was elected to the National Council of the Slovak Republic and serves as the vice-chairman of both the Committee for the Review of Decisions by the National Security Authority and the Special Oversight Committee for the Slovak Information Service. He is also the vice-chairman of the Committee for Defense and Security.
