Rafal Rohozinski is a thought leader at the intersection of digital technologies, risk, conflict, and development with over 30 years of experience. From 2022-2023, he served as acting CISO/CRO for Canada’s National Capital, where helped develop the “Smart City – Safe City” initiative and advocated for establishing digital quality of life standards for cities.
As founder of SecDev Group and CEO of Zeropoint Security, Rafal drives innovative approaches to cybersecurity and digital transformation. He has advised governments, international organizations, and global enterprises on cybersecurity, applied AI, and mitigating digital harms.
Rafal’s academic appointments include the University of Cambridge, Ford Foundation, Centre for International Governance Innovation, and International Institute for Strategic Studies. His co-authored “GhostNet” report and contributions to MIT Press book series have significantly shaped global dialogue on digital risks.
