Toni Friedman is the Assistant Director for the Asia Foundation’s Digital Technology, Policy, and Innovation team, where she supports work on internet governance, information integrity, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies across the Foundation’s 18 country offices. She holds a master’s degree in international policy, focusing on Cyber Policy from Stanford University. She previously worked as Head Research Assistant for Marietje Schaake at the Cyber Policy Center, and as an Analyst for Stanford Internet Observatory. In another life, she managed charity programs in Shanghai, China, where she published a podcast with friends about expat life.
