Franziska Klopfer. Franziska has been engaged in institutional reform in the security sector, with a specific focus on cybersecurity at the Geneva Centre for Security Sector Governance (DCAF) since 2011. Previously, she had worked for over seven years for intergovernmental committees and working groups on Internet governance at the Council of Europe and the United Nations.
In her work at DCAF, Franziska implements reform and capacity building projects and leads research on cybersecurity governance. She has specific expertise on Internet governance, human rights and public policy, cybersecurity and the privatisation of security.
Franziska holds an MA in Human Rights from University College London and an LLM in Public International Law from Queen Mary University of London.
