Gordina Hector-Murrell is Director of Cyber Security in the Ministry of Information Communication Technologies, Utilities and Energy in Antigua and Barbuda. She previously served in Ministry of Public Safety as a Forensic Scientist assigned to the Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda, where she headed the Regional Cyber Investigations Laboratory. She has taught in primary, secondary and tertiary institutions in Antigua. She holds a BBA (Hons) in Finance from University of Technology, Jamaica; BSc (Hons) in Forensic Science and MSc in Forensic Computing both from Staffordshire University in the UK.

She holds specialized certifications in areas of Cybersecurity, Forensics and Cybercrime. She is Antigua and Barbuda’s technical expert from Capital to the UN OEWG on Security in the use of ICTs and the AHC to Elaborate a Comprehensive International Convention on Countering the use of ICTs for Criminal Purposes. She is a member of the Women in Cyber.
