Dr. Patryk Pawlak

Dr Pawlak is a Visiting Fellow at the Robert Schuman Centre for Advanced Studies at the European University Institute (Italy) and a Visiting Scholar at Carnegie Europe (Belgium). Since March 2023, Dr Pawlak has served as Chair of the GC3B Program Advisory Team. He is actively involved in numerous cyber capacity building projects and conducts research on this topic. He is one of the lead authors of the EU’s Operational Guidance on External Cyber Capacity Building (with Nayia Barmpaliou). His current research focuses on how cyber and digital policies are shaping multilateral system, in particular the questions of accountability and coercive diplomacy. He is also Project Director of the Global Initiative on the Future of the Internet coordinated by the Robert Schuman Centre for Advanced Studies (Florence).
