Mr. Dong Uk Kim

Mr. Dong Uk Kim has led the Global Action on Cybercrime Extended (GLCY+) Project from the INTERPOL Cybercrime Directorate for over six years. He is passionate about empowering countries by encouraging the self-development of capacity-building products and activities tailored to specific national contexts. Before joining INTERPOL, Mr. KIM was a police inspector at the Korean National Police Agency. His experience in KNPA includes over five years as an international cybercrime case coordinator at the national headquarters and three years as a team leader of the regional fraud and IP crimes squad. He studied law before joining the police and holds a master’s degree in information security policy and management.
