Since July 2020, Timothy Dolan heads the EU Delegation to Ghana’s Macroeconomic & Trade section. He previously worked as Programme Manager at the EU Delegation to Niger. Before, he was a consultant for UNDP and an analyst in its Regional Bureau for Africa in New York. From 2007 to 2012, Timothy worked for the Commission on Legal Empowerment of the Poor. From 2005 to 2007, he was a Policy Officer at the UK Mission to the UN, then Political Administrator, UN Affairs, with the EC Delegation to the UN. Before this, he was Manager for Rules, Standards & Strategy, developing innovative payment solutions at MasterCard International in New York. He published on the topics of legal empowerment and internet pricing. Timothy holds an MA in Economics from the College of Europe and a BSc in Economics from the University of Southampton. He is fluent in English, German and French.
