Juri Nicolaas

Mr. Juri T. Nicolaas, MA, is the Director of the National Security Service of Aruba (NSSA). He holds a master’s degree in Political Science, International Relations and Foreign Policy from the Nijmegen School of Management faculty, Radboud University in the Netherlands. A strong advocate for regional cooperation and security, cybersecurity and intelligence-sharing. His work focuses on strengthening national security through collaboration with government, law enforcement, military, academia, and private-sector partners, with a particular emphasis on enhancing Aruba’s cybersecurity posture, sustainable development and resilience against evolving digital threats. His efforts have earned him high recognition, including the Intelligence Directorate medal “Teniente Coronel Javier Antonio Uribe Uribe” from the Colombian Ministry of Defense, as well as the highest honor bestowed by the Colombian National Police for his significant contributions to their intelligence agency and regional security partnerships.
