Dr. Louise Axon

Dr. Louise Axon is a Research Fellow in the Global Cyber Security Capacity Centre (GCSCC) and the Cybersecurity Analytics Group at the University of Oxford. Her research interests include cybersecurity capacity building, cyber-risk and harm analysis and quantification, and developing operational cybersecurity approaches to mitigate emerging risks. She has worked with the GCSCC to implement Cybersecurity Capacity Maturity Model for Nations (CMM) reviews for a range of nations. Her teaching engagements include lecturing the Computers in Society course, and teaching on the Oxford Cyber Security for Business Leaders Programme. She is a member of the World Economic Forum’s Expert Network and was previously Council Fellow for the WEF’s Global Future Council on Cybersecurity.
