One main threat in cybersecurity are social engineering attacks – this puts the human in the center. Humans are shaped by their national and/or organisational culture. Culture is a very strong driver of our behavior and hence also impacts how people act in the cyberspace. This spotlight session will elaborate on the interplay of culture and cybersecurity and recommends best practices how to address culture in cybersecurity education.
