With the growing shortage of cybersecurity professionals, organizations in the Global South are struggling to build resilient systems and defend against increasingly complex cyber threats that can undermine their digital development trajectories. Public-private partnerships to develop the required skilled workforce could offer a much-needed solution to the growing cyber inequity between those organizations, sectors and economies that have available resources and capabilities in cybersecurity and those that do not.
