GC3B Visit to Ghana

The GFCE Secretariat, one of the co-organizers of the inaugural Global Conference on Cyber Capacity Building (GC3B) were honored to make an official visit on 4^th – 7^th July 2023 to Accra, Ghana, the host of the GC3B 2023. The GC3B is co-organized by the Ministry of Communication and Digitalisation of Ghana, the Global Forum on Cyber Expertise (GFCE), the World Bank, the CyberPeace Institute and the World Economic Forum Centre for Cybersecurity. 

The team was warmly welcomed to Ghana by Hon. Ama Pomaa Boateng, the Deputy Minister of Communication and Digitalisation of Ghana. The Deputy Minister received a token of appreciation from Marjo Baayen, Director of the GFCE Secretariat, in recognition of the efforts of the entire GC3B team. The GC3B aims to bring together a variety of stakeholders including decision-makers, practitioners, and experts to catalyze global action.  

We look forward to continued close collaboration with the Cyber Security Authority of Ghana on promoting ‘Cyber Resilience for Development’ through the GC3B and beyond.
