International Relations professional with over 8 years of experience and a strong background in development, particularly in Latin America and the Caribbean. Skilled in Project Management, Cybersecurity, and Social Innovation, with excellent communication, writing, and public speaking abilities. She is passionate about youth empowerment and development programs, as well as mentoring and supporting young talent in the field of cybersecurity.
As Cybersecurity Program Officer at the Organization of American States (OAS), she leads the coordination of various capacity-building initiatives, including workforce development projects aimed at training young cybersecurity talent and helping to close the skills gap in Latin America and the Caribbean. She currently also oversee the implementation of gender-focused initiatives that encourage more women to strengthen their technical skills and join the cybersecurity industry.
Before joining the OAS, she studied International Relations at The George Washington University, where she specialized in Latin America and International Development. During this time, she conducted research in Brazil and volunteered with several non-governmental and non-profit organizations dedicated to promoting social and economic development across Latin America. She also collaborated with regional organizations such as the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC).
In 2022, she earned a Master’s degree in Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship in London to complement her previous experience and to gain the skills needed to design, implement, and monitor evidence-based projects with a strong social impact focus.
